North Star Swim Team

Afternoon Practice 5/26-5/28, & 6/1 - 6/4, 6/8 - 6/10

Morning Practices Begin 6/11 - 7/10

Evening Practices Begin 6/11 - 7/19

*For those attending time trials, practice will continue the week of time trials Monday-Wednesday until the swimmer has completed their age appropriate time trial.

In order to join North Star's swim team swimmers must be capable of swimming one complete length of the pool without assistance or stopping. 

***New swimmers must complete a swim test prior to registering.***

 13 and Over

• Ages: 13-18, 11-12 club swimmers
• Training group with some mechanics worked into training
• Can swim all four strokes legally and efficiently
• Goal is to drop time and train for longer distances

12 and Under

• Ages: 11-12
• Training group with mechanics worked into training
• Can swim all four strokes legally or nearly legally
• Goal is to drop time and continue to improve mechanics

10 and Under

• Ages: 9-10
• Group with split focus on mechanics and training
• Can swim all four strokes legally or working towards legality
• Goal is to have a strong basis in mechanics

8 and Under

• Ages: 8 & under
• In water assistance
• Focus is strictly mechanics
• Goal is to be able to swim all four strokes legally

Parent Meeting - Thursday, May 28, 6:00 and 7:00.  (Same information both times)

Team Time Trials --- Wednesday, June 10, 6:00 pm

Pictures and Diving Competition--- Thursday, June 11, 10:00 am

Donut Day -- Monday, June 15

Float Day --- Thursday, June 25, 10:00 am

Pancake Breakfast -- Tuesday, June 30

Game Day -- Monday, July 6

Banquet -- Saturday, July 18, 5:00 pm
